There might be some minor downtime this weekend, and some features like picture uploading might be disabled.
We are enhancing the file uploader / and hopefully there will be some new features added this weekend.
On our Canadian Contractor search engine you can now find contractors by Postal Code, this is in beta, and we will be implementing this through out the system to make it easier to find your CITY!

Big time thanks to Google for the great service!
** Coming soon find a contractor by zip code in the US!
A mailer will be implemented to inform customers of issues with their account, or new changes to the CCDEX web system. In no way will this mailer be used to propagate spam or send CCDEX clients unsolicited emails. We hope to have this launched for the weekend (May 15/10)
** Delayed, hope to have this launched soon. no eta
When adding a service area or a company type in your profile, and it is a duplicate you would get an error.
The system now ignores duplicates.
The same problem existed within projects, and has been resolved as well.
There were delays with our email provider google apps. We have implemented a new system, this has sped up some areas of our website that rely on emailing.
Also some project info on completed projects was not showing up, this was rectified.
After moving servers the time zone was not reset, this should be rectified tomorrow. Dates and times are well off.
This issue is still being worked on. We might need to change servers or our timezone class. Eta may 08 Midnight. PST
RESOLVED!
We have modified our code to adjust, it was actually a simple fix. Everything should be back to normal. All dates in the system are based on your Login Profiles City.
Now implemented is fogbugz, a free to use for start-up or students requiring bug tracking capabilities. This program came highly recommended from a past contributor to ccdex. I must say i am quite impressed.
If you find a bug, or any issue with ccdex or its counterparts please by all means submit them to our new bug tracker located at https://ccdex.fogbugz.com/
With the addition of this wicked software we hope to start implementing proper version releases, which ultimately brings a new responsibility level and accountability to the project.
Fixed a few issues with the country detector, pages that require a country to be selected will now auto load.
By clicking the country flags at the top left of the CCDEX home page you can switch between countries.
Switching between countries might change, as it seems to be a hot topic. More to come….
Our Blog is up and running again, development has started up again on ccdex.com. There has been quite a bit of feedback over the last 6 months.
CCDEX is still in beta, with no date to push out of the beta stage.
Things to look for:
